Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Development Associate to support our commercial growth initiatives in the global BioPharma industry. This role will focus on lead generation, prospect research, outbound outreach, and coordination with our external marketing and advertising agency to ensure campaigns generate qualified opportunities.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working at the intersection of sales, marketing, and digital campaigns in the life sciences area, with a high focus with US and EU pharmaceutical and biotech companoes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and research target pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, including relevant decision-makers across Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access, and Marketing teams.
- Build and maintain high-quality prospect databases using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM platforms, and industry intelligence tools
- Conduct outbound prospecting through phone,email, LinkedIn, and other digital channels to introduce company solutions and generate interest
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and schedule meetings for senior business development leadership
- Track prospect engagement and maintain accurate records within the CRM system
Marketing & Agency Coordination
- Act as a liaison between internal leadership and the external digital marketing and advertising agency
- Coordinate campaign timelines, messaging alignment, and target account lists within the BioPharma sector
- Monitor performance of digital campaigns and report on lead generation metrics and campaign engagement
- Ensure all leads generated from marketing campaigns are captured, qualified, and routed appropriatelyfor follow-up
Campaign & Content Support
- Assist in developing BioPharma-focused outreach messaging, campaign materials, and value propositions
- Support email marketing, LinkedIn campaigns, and targeted digital outreach initiatives
- Help track campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements to targeting strategies and messaging
Reporting & Analytics
- Maintain accurate lead tracking and pipeline activity
- Generate weekly reports on lead activity, campaign performance, and meeting conversions
- Provide insights to improve targeting and messaging
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experiencein business development, lead generation, sales support, and marketing within the US/EU pharmaceutical and biotechnology This is a must have.
- Experience engaging stakeholders across Medical Affairs, Commercial, Marketing, or Market Access teamswithin BioPharma organizations
- Strong research and prospecting skills with the ability to identify relevant decision-makers
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar prospecting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project coordination abilities
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales leadership, marketing teams, and external agencies
- Experience working with digital marketing or advertising agencies
- Exposure to B2B lead generation campaigns targeting pharmaceutical or biotech companies
- Experience supporting marketing automation, email campaigns, or digital marketing analytics
- Familiarity with the BioPharma commercial or Medical Affairs ecosystem

- Conversion rates from marketing campaigns to sales opportunities
